Our School Vision
Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment with opportunities for all children to develop their potential as joyful, confident, proud, healthy and independent individuals with key skills for life.

Our School Aims
We aim to:
- encourage curiosity, independence, interest and an enquiring mind and thereby stimulate a lifelong love of learning.
- preserve and develop the religious character of our school in accordance with the Church of England and in particular with the Abbey, the church at parish and diocesan level.
- promote an ethos based on mutual respect and Christian values, with respect for religious values fostering qualities of compassion for others and tolerance of customs and beliefs different from their own.
| "Take an individual learner, highly professional teaching and put them in a safe caring community/ environment and watch them grow." |
- encourage and support every child to achieve their full potential in all areas of the curriculum through the development of the ‘whole child’-academically, physically, emotionally, morally and spiritually.
- deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, enabling all children to grow in understanding and achievement, fulfilling their own potential and our high expectations in all areas of school life, and celebrate their success.
- behave politely, respectfully and courteously to everyone in our school and the wider community so that everyone feels welcome, comfortable, needed and important.
- develop an enthusiastic school community where there is genuine collaboration, support and understanding of the school aims and celebration of all achievements.
- promote a sense of sharing and involvement between school, home and the wider community in the education of our children and in the ethos of our school.
- encourage a sense of responsibility for the environment.
- continue to create an environment, which fosters excitement and enthusiasm, enabling children to grow in confidence and to prepare them for life in the wider world.
